The maverick stick bait lure is one of the most versatile lures in our tackle box. It works as a swimbait, a jerk bait, and a slow-moving topwater. We’ve designed this bait to let you get the most out of your gear. The Maverick lure is designed as a long cast lure for inshore fishing targeting snook, redfish, seatrout, and occasional largemouth bass that has wandered into the wrong neighborhood.
The Maverick Stick Bait has a single ball rattle and a sliding weight that shifts to the tail with centrifugal force to help maximize your distance casting. The rattle rolls back and forth creating great vibrations that fish have a hard time resisting. The sliding weight also adds to the effect by creating a knocking sound when you use it as a twitch bait. The harder you twitch this bait the more erratic the action the bait will actually turn 180º on itself creating a violent strike from snook, redfish, and seatrout.
Slow troll this bait and pull shallow water grouper off of rock piles, seatrout and redfish up from the grass flats. The Maverick is engineered with high-grade materials to let you get the most mileage out of this multi-purpose stick bait.
These stick baits are sinking and weigh 0.8 oz, are 5.25" in length, and match the hatch. Choose between: Little Red Corvette, Ghost Face Killa, and Daddy Greenbacks today.
